Sankofa Summer Drum Camp
The Center for Leadership of Afrikan Women’s Wellness (CLAWW) proudly presents the Sankofa Summer Drum Camp, a six week summer experience designed to empower and inspire youth ages 8–18 through African drumming, cultural learning, and creative expression.
From June 22 through July 31, 2026, participants will gather Monday through Friday from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Clinton Rose Senior Center in Milwaukee for an engaging program focused on rhythm exploration, storytelling, teamwork, leadership, and self expression in a safe and supportive community environment. Lunch will be provided daily for all camp participants.
CLAWW is also seeking community sponsors and partners to support the camp through food donations and other in kind contributions to help serve youth and program leaders throughout the summer. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, donations are tax deductible as permitted by law.
For registration, sponsorship opportunities, or more information, contact CLAWW at 414-792-0918.
